The AIEN Papers
The Turing unit, the evidence doctrine, the language design, and the philosophy. Eight documents, one research program.
Abstract
This volume collects the complete AIEN research program in one place: the formal Turing paper (v1.14), the companion engineering history (v1.7), the plain-language Turing brief (v1.4), the Turing Discovery Gap conjecture (rev 9), the Crumb Doctrine (v1.4), the Omega language design, the Stapleton Doctrine (v1.5), and the Atemporal AIEN Postulate (v1.1).
The central thread is the Turing (T), a protocol-bound measure of net held-out explanatory compression, and the evidence machinery around it: receipts that record what was checked under which assumptions, dependency closure that fails closed, and energy accounting that joins the informational gain to its physical cost. The first profile-bound idealized result, +2,559,679.825 T_ideal under profile V0, is reported with a complete evidence ledger.
All preprints; none peer reviewed yet. Versions are never overwritten: every release keeps its PDF, LaTeX source, and SHA-256 digest.
