Where Builders Start
ChatGPT is where many builders start, me included. Aien builds on that start: it runs real work on my own machine, checks the results, and shows its receipts.
ChatGPT is where a lot of builders start. It is a brilliant collaborator, and a lot of people, me included, learned to build with tools like it. You describe what you want, and it helps you shape the idea, write the code and learn the words as you go. That is a real superpower, and I love that so many people have it now.
Aien is what I build on top of that start. When it gets a goal, it makes a plan, runs real experiments on real hardware, measures what actually happened, and checks the results before it believes them. If the plan fails, it figures out why and tries a new one, by itself. Every step leaves a receipt: what it tried, what it measured, what passed, what did not.
What Aien adds
Receipts you can open. Nothing gets used until it passes a test with measured evidence behind it, and anyone can open that evidence.
It does the work on the machine. Aien runs on real hardware, uses real tools, and every action goes through a permission check with a full audit trail of what it did and why.
It remembers. Aien keeps a durable memory of what worked, what failed, and why, and that record is what it improves on.
It lives on my own machine. Aien runs on my own hardware. Nobody can switch it off, throttle it, or read what it is doing.
It is honest about what it is not. Aien carries an explicit list of what it does not claim: no consciousness, no general intelligence, no pretending.
One line version: start wherever you are, ChatGPT included, and when you want to go further, Aien is a machine that does work, checks its work, and shows its receipts.
The measured evidence behind these claims is public: the R13 living-system run and the R14 living-recovery run, each with a machine-readable execution receipt.
